I had so much fun painting something just for fun! I thought it would be super cool to use a page from a vintage ledger as my 'canvas' -LOVE IT! Don't you love how you can see that captured work product from so long ago, through my watercolor flowers!!!???!!! Mixing old and new is SO SO SO much fun! Give it a try!

Are you having fun yet??? I sure am!
First up, day 24 of 100, a cute card I created for a Scraps of Love make and take featuring Queen & Co's stick-ems and Doodlebug patterned paper.
I also used my We R envelope punch to create the patterned paper bows!
Day 25 of 100
Awesome you greeting card featuring Sizzix' Framelits flip-its die by Stephanie Barnard and Jillibean Soup's Hello Healthy Soup collection (patterned paper and pea pod parts) and Adhesive sequins. Originally meant to hold a gift card, I wanted to challenge myself to create a bunch of cards with this die and no-gift cards! So without further adieu here is the next one!
Day 26 of 100
Dream Big greeting card featuring Jillibean Soup's Mushroom Medley collection (patterned paper and pea pod parts) and Adhesive sequins. I popped a few of the mushrooms with foam tape to add dimension.
Day 27 of 100
I pledge allegiance greeting card featuring Pebbles 'America the Beautiful' collection and Queen & Co Red Dotties.
I am a 1/4th of the way through #the100dayproject and am loving it SO much! Hope you are doing your own version of the challenge!

Day 21 of 100 in my #100dayproject
SWEET banner featuring WeR Memory Keepers 'Flower Girl' collection, 123 Punch Board, Alphabet Punch Board, and Jillibean Soup Party Playground Fringe Garland, Xyron adhesive and Bazzill cardstock. This was my first attempt at using the Alphabet Punch board and I loved it! I cut all of the letters for this banner from one 12x12 sheet of black cardstock-how cool is that! Ironically, this darling macaron inspired patterned paper is named 'Sweets'! I punched bows from the Macaron paper with the 123 punch board-super simple, easy and quick! Scraps of Love is full of little treasures-like this fringe garland from Jillibean Soup, I LOVE the texture and party feel it adds to my banner-find it in the birthday section of the store (in other colors too!!!)
day 22 of 100 of my #100dayproject journey-Remember last week when I said I had a bunch of bears on bikes pieces left over from my PhotoPlay Paper Father's Day banner-well, here is what I did with them! I am a very thrifty paper artist-I don't like to waste anything cute!
I had cut apart all of the bears on bikes from one sheet of 12x12 paper-I think in the end I had about 37 pieces. I inked the edges of each piece with Ranger Distress ink (Walnut Stain). I brought them all to my sewing machine and stitched them onto a length of vintage seam binding. Taa Daa!!! I will be adding this banner to the Father's Day banner, above the masculine section of Scraps of Love-come on in, all of the loot is available for you to make your own! I'll even help you put yours together!
Day 23 of 100 of my #100dayproject journey-July monthly divider from my ADORNit Documented Faith Art Play Planner. I am in LOVE with this project! I use mine as my place to document my spiritual journey and my get my coloring fix in daily! I have been experimenting with so many different coloring techniques and products and having an absolute blast in doing so! This particular divider was done with Reeves watercolor pencils and a waterbrush-a pretty simple, straight forward coloring endeavor. But isn't it funny, even as I look at the photo of this project as I write this post-I see more and more I can do to it! Be on the lookout for an update!

First off, I am so excited to share this Father's day banner featuring PhotoPlay's 'This Guy' collection-SUPER fun to create-so many cool patterns, quotes and phrases, images, and FUN! I made a version of a paper bow, that has a masculine twist-I flattened it and put the father and child bike riders in the center. I cut all of the bike riders from one sheet of paper, inked the edges and adhered them to the center of the bow with foam squares. I have a bunch of these darling bikers left over, so I have another project in my noggin-look for it!
I am so proud of this!!! Chris and I had a few discussions of what her vision for a new logo for Scraps of Love-and this is the result of those discussions and hours at my drawing table! It represents all of the elements that make up this fabulous shop that I have the privilege to be a part of! Look for it!!!

I am SUPER JAZZED to share this new workshop I have developed! A monthly gathering of stitchers-Stitches of Love! Each month I will design a new panel kit from glorious wool felt. Our banners will continue to grow with each month with each added design. We have a wide selection of ADORNit's stitching designs for purchase and to work on during our time together, and of course, the monthly banner panel kit. After each workshop we will have a limited selection of kits for purchase.

Zoom layout featuring Queen & Co Epoxy Icons, Washi tapes and pearls, Sticky Thumb adhesive holds it together and Bazzill cardstock is the base.
While visiting the Queen & Co. booth last weekend at the Mesa CKC, I fell in love with SO MANY washi tapes!!!!! As soon as I spotted these tire tracks, roads and gears, I knew I had the perfect photos to capture my great nephew Braxston's OBSESSION with all things that GO! I couldn't decide which washi to use, so I used all 3 to create a background 'paper'. For a layer of dimension and texture, I created a border with a set of ZOOM epoxy stickers also from Queen & Co. I love the shiny surface of the epoxy stickers, but wanted a bit more dimension so I added scads of Nightfall pearls (of course, from Queen & Co.) I matted the photos of him and the border with green cardstock to highlight the green lettering on his shirt. I used my Dymo to add his name and date to finish it up.
going to hang out and get my craft on with my pal Janna today, so come back tomorrow to see what we create for day 17 plus!!!!!

Nor Cal Camping Road Trip layout featuring PhotoPlay Paper's Happy Glamper collection. My pal Christa is an avid camper and even has her own little 'glamper', she is also a bit of a photog! So, I knew she would have lots of photographic material for me-and she did! PhotoPlay paper knocked it out of the ballpark with this adorable and cheerful collection!

Love greeting card featuring PhotoPlay paper's Happy Glamper collection. I LOVE mason jars-and the mason jars in this collection are absolutely fabulous!
January dashboard of my ADORNit Documented Faith planner which I use as a place to document my faith and daily devotionals. I painted the entire page with my watercolor colored pencils and waterpen. I added a bit of regular colored pencil detail mark making for some texture and dimension.
day 15 is done and ready to be posted!!!!

Sail Away with Me altered photo frame featuring PhotoPlay's Julie Nutting Nautical Bliss collection. Interestingly enough, I created this frame for this photo of Geoff and I on the oceanside on the opposite side of the country as yesterday's layout.To add dimension and texture to the layered photo border, I used my fringe scissors to a strip of patterned paper, popped a few of the sticker buttons with foam tape, and adding some jute ties to the center of the buttons.
