Supplies-Xyron 9" Creative Station Lamintae Magnet Refill, Xyron 1.5" Sticker Maker with permanent adhesive refill, We R Memory Keepers 'For the Record' collection, patterned paper, embossed stickers, layered chipboard, bottle caps, 12"x12" metal sheet
The Xyron Design team was challenged to "redo" a past Xyron project. I chose this fab magnetic perpetual calendar project, by my pal, Jessica. Here is her original project. I was inspired by her clever use of patterned paper strips to divide the days of the week.
Here is my take-
1. I printed all of the dates, months and days of the week on my computer.
2. I smashed 31 bottlecaps for each day of the week and more for to hold photos for each family members birthdays
3. Punch each number and photo (face) with a 1 inch circle punch, then run thru the Xyron 1.5 Sticker Maker (permanent adhesive refill)

4. Adhere dates and photos to center of smashed bottle caps
5. Run printed months, days of the week and a piece of patterned paper 3"x9" thru the Xyron 9"Creative Station Laminate Magnet Refill. Cut all months and days of the week apart. Cut six 1/2" x 9 inch strips to be used as dividers
6. Adhere Xyron Magnet tape to the back of each bottlecap
7. Place a piece of 12x12 piece of patterned paper to the center of a 12x12 metal sheet, adhere a strip of coordinating washi tape along the edges of 4 sides of the metal sheet.
8. Create a few banners and a lolli with a bottlecap center for embellishment for the lower right corner
9.Create a small banner and adhere to upper left corner and top with a layered chipboard banner
10. Layout your calendar base like this
11. now the fun begins, each month, place the date bottlecaps and birthday in order of the days of the month.
What a great idea! I am going to try this for a gift idea for my DIL! TFS

Thanks for all of your kind words! This was so fun to create. Kate, I think your daughter in law will love it! Here's a little tip, I purchased the bottlecaps at a local home brewing store, super affordable!
