I stumbled upon this delightful concept on Facebook, or Instagram or somewhere on the internet, and immediately fell in love with it! Janette Lane is the creator, click on her name and open up a plethora of of creative inspiration! You know me, I love snailmail! I love finding new and innovative ways to send sunshine to someone's mailbox! I joined Janette's group and have found it to be a fantastic source of eye candy! Here's the cool part-you can send to new friends-a modern day take on the time honored notion of pen pals-or to existing friends who appreciate getting an envelope of artsy goodness in their mailbox! The baseball card sleeve is filled with 9 little pieces of art, with a few little treasures added. Once they arrive at their destination, the recipient can put the sleeves in a binder and use them as a inspiration book or take bits and pieces to create new art with! How fun is that!!!!!!
BONUS! they are folded in 3 and slip right into a regular business envelope!!!! Come on, that ROCKS!!!
Here are a few of my Pocket Pages
To create the confetti pocket-I cut up a wrinkle-y page protector that was headed for the trash (just smaller than the pocket opening) sew 3 sides, fill with this delicious summery confetti from Dear Lizzy, then sewed across the top and slipped it into a pocket in front of a piece of darling patterned paper.
