I am participating in Art to the 5th's year long artsy journey! Every week we recieve an art challenge and a journal prompt.
I will be posting my art journal pages here-I didn't take photos of my process of this first challenge, but I will in the future. As I said in an earlier post, my OLW for 2015 is TRUST, and this weeks prompt was about goals, so it felt fitting to create some artwork using my goals for the year as my base. My goals are to trust myself, trust the process and trust God's timing. I am ready to embrace it, to live it and to have gentle reminders throughout the year.
Losing myself in a art project, is one of my absolute favorite ways to spend a day! My artsy heart is so very happy to have this little home for documenting my 2015!
I came across this quote the other day
Art is what happens
when you dare
to be who
Supplies used-Dyan Reavely Dylusions journal, Faber Castell Gelatos-tangerine, mango, red cherry, guava, Faber Castell art grip aquarelle-blue, Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen-black, Xyron glue stick, Tim Holtz washi tapes, Bo Bunny washi tapes, and a few more 'vintage' washi tapes, book pages, and tickets
As with most mixed media/art journal projects-I will probably come back and add something more here and there. I love that each little work of art can grow and grow. I want to be completly in the moment as I create with my hands, art supplies and imaginiation. I am ready to experiment and play! The possibilities are endless!
What are you doing to expand your creative horizons in 2015, how are you stretching your creative muscle ? Share with me and we can encourage and share with one another throughout the year!
