I just love the look of burlap and lace! As you know DCWV is known for it's innovative and on trend Stacks, but they have completely outdone themselves with these latest collections! Burlap, Canvas and Cork are so hot right now! I was lucky enough to get to play with a bunch!!! I used some of their bright and fun canvas and burlap last week during our partnership with Paper Smooches acrylic stamps. This week, I tried my hand at another trend-Mason Jars! I ran a 6"x12" piece of natural burlap through my 900 Creative Station (permanent adhesive), wrapped it around the jar-easy as PIE! Completely secure! Next,I added a length of lace, adhered with the double sided high tack tape-again, completely secure! For the coordiating tag, I added burlap and lace to a ordinary shipping tag and embellished it with a layered flower I made with patterned paper and a flat back "tin pin" embellishment from Darcie Heater designs. Texture and dimension til the cows come home!
