Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return
here's a glimpse into our yesterday!
the newest inductee of the national honor society and her extremely proud parents!
so much has happened in the last little while, not sure if i can even remember it all, but i will share some of the highlights.
my darling cousin tiffany, visited us for easter! we had such a fabulous time, we could have visited for a month longer! i think she enjoyed miranda and dwayne's company-they are pretty entertaining! we went to see "clash of the titans" and all decided it was kind of ironic and weird to watch that movie, the night before easter.
miranda and i went to see paul mccartney!
SHUT UP! the whole time, i just kept saying to myself-oh my gosh-i am watching one of the beatles! he was simply amazing, what a showman! we spent the evening with our friend cheryl and a few thousand equally enthusiastic fans! the entire arena belted out every song with him! miranda is a huge beatles fan, especially paul-so to share this fantastic experience with her was something i am sure we will both carry with us forever.
geoff took advantage of the spectacular arizona spring weather and went for numerous bike rides, especially during bike week.
miranda continued to march to the beat of her own drummer!
and she continued to rock the tennis court! she was even featured in our local paper with 2 of her team mates, and she made regionals! we are just a little bit proud!
i taught my very first convention scrapbooking class at the creating keepsakes convention in mesa! it was a big step for me, and my dear friend christa, touched my heart, because she really "got" the biggness of it for me, when she presented me with this darling apple with a ribbon and tag attached that said, "so very happy for you-love christa" thank you so much friend! class was great, xyron and imaginisce knocked it out of the park with their generousity and amazing products! julie, rocks the house, her support is second to none! the girls in that class were awesome, totally sweet and ready to learn everything i shared about the fantastic creatopia! thanks to all, it was a blast!
miranda attended the prom with her terrific group of friends and i am happy to report, a "epic" time was had by all! she takes my breathe away!
all of that and our regular ol' crazy life too! oh gosh, i almost forgot to mention-the coyotes are in the playoffs with the red wings! if you know anything about my big crazy family, you know how much we all love hockey! so so so much fun to watch! and it will be interesting to see who prevails, both teams seem to be in it to win it!
