celebration dinner at red robin words can't describe how proud we are!
banquets, thank yous, end of the year trips, dances, and final goodbyes-and in between all of that-regular life. as much as i love to be involved and help out with all of these things-i am having mixed feelings-you know, when you have been working on something for so long and you want to see it to fruition, but you know, that when that happens-it will be all over and you are trying desperately to stay in the moment and observe your child go through all of these ceremonies. and i struggle to say this-but i am feeling a bit overwhelmed. i am looking forward to the carefree days of summer, lounging by the pool and reading a good book. i did receive barbara walters autobiography for mother's day from miranda (my little book lover!) and it is absolutely fascinating! what a life! she is so candid and honest-she doesn't pull any punches. she just did what she had to do-not knowing she was instrumental in changing the course for womenkind in the process. for that giriles-we should all say a big "thank you!" amazing woman! i am SO looking forward to my endless possibilities class this sunday, and then disney on monday! i love the creative process of designing the projects, but equally i adore the girlies in these classes-my cup runneth over! they fill me up! they are sweet and funny and we have all become dear friends, who look forward to catching up on each others lives, creating something fun and just being together. at least that's how i see it! hope you all have a fantastic day- here it is predicted to be a little warm-upper 90's! makes that pool, all the more inviting! a
it has been crazy busy around here these days, so many end of the year activities for both miranda and dwayne, and all of the emotions that go along with so many "lasts". as i was sending out yet another update to the 8th grade promotional dance committee this morning, these words of wisdom arrived in my in-box-wow! isn't it funny how when you are open to it-the universe supplies you with just what you need!
When you live in reaction, you give your power away. Then you get to
experience what you gave your power to.
