challenge number 6
are posted at this website-
june 26th and today we turned in our 4th assignment and received our 5th. yesterday's and today's are very quick turn arounds-less than 24 hours, but they are smaller-2 page layouts. i am a lucky duck- i have a very dramatic daughter who LOVES to wear costumes! so, i have photos of her to fit virtually every theme!
i taught lots of layouts last night and it was FABULOUS as always! it is the most high energy, super fun and rockin' group of girlies! i always leave filled to the brim with all of their goodness, sillyness, and all around energy. i, so look forward to spending the evening with them once a month. i arrived home last night around 10:00 and my sweet geoff had a route 44 diet cherry coke and a candy bar waiting for me-he knew it was going to be a late night. i finished up around 2 and loved what i made-and was sure hoping that i would like it as much in the morning. i did and posted it to the website in plenty of time.

miranda is home safe and sound and FULL of stories of new friends, camp songs and tales of camping adventures! she is fast asleep for what i am thinking will be many, many hours! she was excited to shower in her own shower and sleep in her own bed. heber is beautiful! fresh air , lots of pines and about 20 degrees cooler than here!
amazing race update-2nd pit stop challenge is due this morning at 9:00 our time. uploaded mine last night-had some trouble with the size of my photos, but, how cool is this-my fellow competitors were the ones to help a girl out! i have to say, they are some of the most generous, kind and considerate girls around! i have made all kinds of new friends, from all around the world! clue number 3 will be posted at 9:00 on the rusty pickle site, i am so curious what our next challenge will be. i will post photos of my projects in photo albums to the right.
we are home for today and that feels good. it is supposed to be hot as blazes today, so i am sure we will be in the pool for a good portion of the day.
go out and make it a great day!

did you ever have get just what you needed and you didn't even know you needed it!
well, that happened to me this morning, i found this on my computer, from my cousin, pat.
as you will find out after reading this she is an angel and a rock star!
sunday afternoon we took our first dip-i am thinking with the climbing temperatures this pool may just be our new digs! it is supposed to get up to 110 on my dear brother's birthday thursday-yikes! geoff swims no matter how cold the water-miranda and i are a bit more discerning-dwayne came over yesterday and swam the day away-he, too, will jump in the cold water-not sure if he really would if uncle geoff wasn't in there-but whatever-not me!
miranda started drama camp and just LOVES it! she auditioned for about 6 parts and is jazzed about the prospect of getting any of them! she is enthusiastically looking forward to all of the aspects of putting on a production, perfect fit for our girl
i taught disney university last night at scrap happy sisters and had a blast as usual-they are the most fun group of girlies one will ever meet. you just can't help being happy around them all. i am sure it doesn't help that they are all disney freaks, like me and the disney mania is in full frenzy every month. last night we created 2 two page layouts of characters-goofy and donald, so cute. can hardly wait til next month!
i received another e-mail yesterday from rusty pickle that ANOTHER box of rusty pickle product was mailed on friday-how cool is that! as soon as all of the 20 finalists gets this box of stuff the race will begin-maybe this friday or next monday! as this was a international contest, some of the boxes have to go as far away as scotland and england- how fun is that! i am so grateful for this opportunity to show my stuff and to stretch my creative muscle, all the while preserving my family's precious memories-how awesome!
hope you all have a fantastic day!
here is a quote for today-
"happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply, to enjoy simply, to think freely, to risk life, to be needed!"
